Make Your Project Influential on Social Networks

The Rozana Center for Media Development (RAM) organized a training for “syrian female journalists network”, on influencing through social media.

Seven trainees participated in the training, which took place over five days (3 hours each day) through the “Zoom” programme, under the supervision of Ram Center trainers Lina Chawaf, Loujeina Haj Youssef
, Katya Daghestani, Dilyar Ali,.

Training objectives

  • Learn how to build digital societies.
  • Analyze and utilize interaction data.
  • Best practices for creating interactive content.

The training focused on identifying the “target audience” known as the Persona, and this is done through criteria including age, gender, marital status, location, and academic level.

The training also included the conditions for obtaining a one-person video and “Story” on a social networking site, including:

Plan before you start the video. Write down and organize your ideas.

Use the front camera. Choose an appropriate, beautiful ‘cadre’.

Start with smile

Start with a touching shot to get attention.

Address your target audience “Persona”

Ensure the quality of the video in terms of image and sound.

The Rozana Center for Media Development (RAM), through its professional trainers, addresses journalists as individuals and to Syrian and Arab institutions in cooperation with leading Arab and international organizations that support independent media in the Arab world.
